As a graduation project at the photography school I chose to take photos that fit in a story that Robin my daughter has been written when she was 9 years old. An exciting story but it never had an end… I suggested she might want to write it off and that it would be nice to merge her accompanying drawings with real photos and actually turn them into a book.
This was well received and we got to work!
Her story is set around a mysterious house in a forest.
We set out together, make plans, found a suitable house with a cellar, very important in the story ;-). Brother and girlfriend asked to model for characters from the book. Robin made some extra drawings, we select photos and then I merge them in photoshop.
Great to do this together 🙂
The story got what it deserved. A series of books were printed, sold in the family and as cherry on the cake, an exhibition in the library where many children can read it.
And I, I am a proud mother!
